AIR DUCT CLEANING:
Barwick Heating & cooling offers Air Duct Cleaning using NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) certified air duct cleaning equipment, spec’ed for the cleaning of air handling and air conveyance systems. We also follow their very strict guidelines and procedures for cleaning air duct systems. We run a 12 inch hose off the large self contained HEPA filtered dust collection vacuum unit and attach it to the main duct or “trunk line” of the heating system. NADCA’s specifies the minimum air flow required to move dust and debris out of a duct system, is 2,000 cfm (cubic feet of air per minute). Our system is pulling 3,000 cfm Thru the whole house with a combination of air-sweeps running compressed air 225 psi and power-brushes. Our cleaning method brushes down the sides, edges and corners of the duct. This dust gets caught in the vacuum air stream and is collected inside our powerful HEPA filtered vacuum collection system. The duct is then air sweep with 225 pounds of compressed air to insure all the dust brushed off the duct is swept out of the duct system. With 3,000 cfm going thru the duct system there is never any dust blowing into the house during the cleaning process.
FURNACE CLEANING:
We pull the furnace apart; cleaning the heat exchanger, combustion chamber, burner assembly, pilot areas, blower motor and fan assembly. When the blower motor and fan assembly get removed from the furnace, we clean it, check and lube the bearings, and if the blower assembly is real bad we will pressure wash it along with the grills and registers. As an option we can sanitize the duct system with an EPA registered product specifically designed to treat HVAC systems. It kills disease causing bacteria, viruses, molds, dust mites and things of that nature. When we sanitize the duct system we give a One year warranty on the cleaning. If any dust or odors come thru the system within one year, we will come out and re-clean it for free.
Here is video of reverse skipper blowing all the dust and dirt off of duct board. The whole system is put under a 3000 cfm vacuum so once the debris is dislodged by the 225 psi compressed air it is sucked into vacuum machine. Since the whole system is under a sealed vacuum, the debris is collected directly into the hepa filtered dust collection vacuum unit and not all over your house.
We offer duct sealing on existing forced air HVAC duct systems, providing homeowners with an option to make their HVAC systems more efficient.
